ABOUT THE CHALLENGE
36 hours, no money, no preparation: JAILBREAK is an annual charity challenge run by RAG (Raising & Giving) Societies in universities across the UK.
On February 17th, Jailbreak teams from the University of Sussex will set off from Library Square and travel as far away as they can within 36 hours, without spending any of their own money - and I'll be taking part. Last year, donations from people on Exeter High Street got two students as far away as New York (http://bit.ly/2BYTPbl) - with any luck, this will be my team come February! We'll be competing for prizes like 'furthest travelled', 'most fundraised' and 'most countries visited' along the way, but most importantly, my team & I will be raising money & awareness for The Clock Tower Sanctuary (see below) as part of Jailbreak. I ask that you help us make it all worthwhile by donating to their cause. Thank you for your support!
ABOUT THE CHARITY
The Clock Tower Sanctuary is the only drop-in service providing all-round information, advice and support to homeless young people (aged 16-25) in Brighton & Hove. The charity works with homeless young people to help prevent further decline, unlock their potential and get their lives back on track.
£5 can pay for a young person to have a hot shower, wash their clothes and to prepare and eat a nutritious meal.
Thank you for helping homeless young people in Brighton & Hove have a chance for a brighter future.
