Ronald McDonald House Bristol

We provide free accommodation and support to families with critically ill children

Charity Registration No. 1091342

Our work colleague, Paul has asked for help fundraising for the Ronald McDonald House in Bristol.

His daughter, Ruby has been seriously ill and Paul and his family have been supported by the charity who have provided accommodation and support while their daughter has life saving medical treatment.  Paul says:

'My family made use of the Ronald McDonald Bristol facilities for a month in January 2018 while my daughter Ruby was in intensive care at Bristol Children's Hospital.  This allowed me to remain close by during a very worrying time during her treatment.  It also allowed Ruby's brother and sister to visit, but at the same time have somewhere to relax away from the stress of the hospital ward.

Ronald McDonald House Bristol offer a fantastic service to parents in difficult circumstances and are self funded so rely upon donations and fundraising to keep offering this service.'

With the help of Coleg Gwent, we (Dan Coles, Ian Rowe and Alex Anderson) have decided to undertake the UK 3 Peaks to support the charity and are seeking your sponsorship.

The UK 3 Peaks is a tough challenge; to conquer Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in under 15 hours of climbing over 2 days, perhaps catching some kip during transfers between the mountains.

We have an equally tough sponsorship target of £2280 to raise by the middle of June to undertake the challenge on September the 22nd and 23rd.

Thank you for your support!
