Two months ago, my closest grandparent died of Lung Cancer. He was not just a grandfather, he was also a best friend, an amazing teacher and a great support figure in my life. He was a believer, an achiever and an optimist.  

I guess sad things happen in life. And this time, it really hit me hard with a rock solid brick. But instead of crying over the loss everyday and feeling sorry, I thought I would do something about it - not necessarily change the world but at least make a small contribution.   

I am shaving my beautiful hair to give to people who've lost theirs over the course of chemotherapy. In doing that, I'm also fundraising for cancer research, hoping that one day others' grandfathers, fathers, partners, friends and siblings can survive cancer!
