Since returning to the UK from working for 6 years in a small school in Grenada, one of the things that has struck me again and again is how wealthy we are in the UK, compared to most of the rest of the world.  

Recently UK charities working overseas have got bad press, but being involved as a Trustee with All We Can has shown me the impact that true partnership across the world can have.

All We Can work to strengthen local organisations and people to serve their own area and country.  They support partner organisations who work with refugees in Jordan, women and girls education in India and pig farming in Cameroon, amongst so much more.

I am running the Berlin Marathon, because its a classic marathon and strangely I even enjoy them (even more at the end!).  It may be my last because of recurring injury, so I want to use it to support the work of All We Can and make a difference to people around the world.
