Back in 1970, just before joining the Royal Navy, I took passage aboard the TS Winston Churchill as a trainee. In 2020 it will of course be 50 years since that voyage, but I got impatient and have signed up on similar terms with another tall ship, the wheelchair-accessible Lord Nelson, to mark 49 years. I want to take another star-sight.

I am funding the trip myself (and through any bursaries I can snaffle) so any money raised will go straight to the JST.
