On Sunday April 5th I shall be boxing against an opponent at the Hatherley Manor Hotel and Spa as part of the Ultra White Collar Boxing Challenge. I have three missions a) to complete my recovery from mental health issues that I have suffered from for the past 9 years. b) to raise awareness of mental health issues, particularly in men, to prevent suffering and to promote wellbeing. c) to raise enough money to fund one mission for the Great Western Air Ambulance. The ambulance provides rapid critical care and pre-hospital medicine to people suffering from issues such as heart attacks and road traffic collisions.  They receive no public funding whatsoever but save lives on a daily basis on my patch. My wife, Del, is on the Committee for our local ambulance supporters group and this means so much to us. I have been training hard, have lost nearly two stone in weight, and gain fitness every day. I have had amazing support from the local community and have even been interviewed for BC Radio Gloucestershire.  Please help me reach my target and please help me raise awareness for mental health issues - both are lifesavers. If you would rather sponsor me by paper there will be sponsor forms available in the Old Spot Pub in Dursley and I thank Ellie and Jo for their continued support for the fundraising.
