We fund research and raise awareness to create a world free from meningitis

Story

The amazing George Zographou aka Zoggy, tragically and suddenly died on the 16th August 2017 of Meningitis B whilst attending a festival; for which was misdiagnosed and meant that he died alone on the floor of a welfare tent.

We aim as a team to educate and inspire others whilst making positive changes to the Public Health in this country. And with that, we're in hope that our country will have a wider knowledge, awareness and reduce the many people that die yearly from Meningitis B. We also aim to raise awareness of Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities as one of our team members has CP, despite her struggle she has decided to join us on our adventure up Machu Picchu.

We have decided to channel our grief into something positive and make a change by trekking up Machu Picchu next year to help fund the trials for men b vaccines in teenagers.

Follow 6 friends journey of love and remembrance for George on all our social media platforms below and hopefully others can be inspired by this too who face similar loss.

We promise we will make you laugh along the way...

Meningitis is deadly; killing and seriously disabling in hours. Small children and young adults are high risk, but all ages can be affected. Globally 1,000 people die daily. We fundraise to invest in research, campaign for vaccines, provide symptom information and support those already affected.
