It may seem like a small gesture to sleep out for one night but, on November 21^st, I am joining a number of other volunteers who are “Sleeping Out Under the Stars” in London to raise money for Charity. 

I will be donating 75% of the money raised directly to “Only A Pavement Away” which is a Charity where I am also a Trustee. “Only A Pavement Away” supports Homeless people, prison leavers and veterans find employment in the hospitality sector. The other 25% of the money raised will be distributed by CEO Sleepout to local charities supporting the Homeless.

Life can serve us all difficult blows and any number of people can end up facing the hardship of Homelessness or leaving prison without a permanent job to provide structure. This is a brilliant charity as it provides really practical support to help bring together Homeless people, prison leavers and veterans with employers in the hospitality sector. 

I can’t claim that one night sleeping out is a great hardship, but I think you will all agree that this is a fantastic cause and “Only A Pavement Away” would be hugely grateful for any donations raised.
