On the 2nd of June it will be 1 year since Newcastle lost one of its finest people. He was a colleague and a best friend but overall Paul Burns was just the best a man could be. 

As a mark of respect for a man I admire immensely I will be running the Grasmere Gallop on his anniversary weekend and raising money for one of his favourite charities, Hadrians School.

Just to add a bit of Paul Burns magic I'll run it in the Botanist check shirt uniform and braces that we had changed to recognise his impact on not just the people of Newcastle but also the place he worked.
