Story

On Sunday 7th June we will be abseiling off the Forth Rail Bridge to raise money for ProjectScotland!

ProjectScotland is a fantastic charity that helps young people aged 16 to 30 to get on in life through volunteering. The volunteers gain work experience and the chance to develop themselves while the various charities throughout Scotland offering placements gain additional skills, talents and energy.

Each young person is given a three month volunteering placement designed to support their needs and long-term goals. They attend skills-based workshops on employability and personal development, and can benefit from the additional support of a mentor. To date, ProjectScotland has helped over 5000 young people, who have carried out more than 2.9 million hours of volunteering at more than 300 Scottish charities nationwide.

Donations will initially go to the Rotary Club who are organising the event and will then be redistributed to ProjectScotland.

Thank you!
