We support vulnerable families to give children a brighter future

Story

Dear all,

Thank you all for taking the time to visit my page. On Saturday 16th September I ran the Tough Mudder in West Sussex. Although it was extremely challenging at times it brought out the best in me as an individual. It came to show that with a lot of dedication and self belief you can conquer anything you set your mind to. This experience  has brought me to the limit, physically and particularly mentally.

I chose this charity as I am very lucky to lead such a fortunate lifestyle, where I always have the opportunity to go to the nearest hospital whenever I feel sick. However, I am aware that a lot of children do not have this opportunity and  unfortunately continue suffering from their diseases. NMCF has built 1 out of 5 Children's Hospitals on the African Continent, these are meant to serve 441 million children, which are suffering from serious and life threatening illnesses.

Thank you to my chaperone,  my Mum for taking the time to drive 2.5 hours to then find herself crawling through mud and running through water on a cold, rainy Saturday. This has been a very fun and 'tough' experience were I have learnt a lot about myself.

Thank you very much for any donations and your support.

Best wishes,

Anki xx
