Our 4 year old daughter Betty has been diagnosed as autistic and we have seen first-hand the difficulties she faces with her development and general everyday situations.  In addition, our 2 year old Penelope is also under assessment for autism, and although we are supported by a network of professionals, we would love to be able to give something back by means of fundraising to help their ongoing demands and resources.  

Our girls are an absolute dream by the way and to say they are my world is not enough.  They will be my inspiration for training and running the half-marathon, hopefully in a reasonable enough time! 

The stepping stones for most are mountains for others.

The Autism Directory assists individuals with autism and ensures their families get the help they need.  It provides an online UK directory signposting to resources & support available for individuals and families living with autism. They provide a Help Line and support with Benefits, PIP, Education, Diagnosis & more. They run Employment Programs helping adults with autism into work (over 65% of their own staff are on the spectrum) and provide training courses for organisations to understand autism. They also run Live Autism Shows annually in Wales.
