My name is Anton August Fischer and I am 10 years old. 

I have always wanted to help children in need, and over lockdown I have felt really sad for families who have children with terminal illnesses and don't have enough money to care for them. I found out about a charity called REACT which gives necessary equipment to families that aren't so lucky. It must be so comforting for families going through a very difficult time to know that they are not alone.  

I decided to take on a big challenge to walk the distance of a marathon over two days. I will be starting in Exmoor and walking north across the famous "Two Moors Way," finishing in Porlock Weir, on the Somerset coast. This is going to be a real challenge for me as I have never walked this far, and my father and uncle have kindly agreed to accompany me along the way.    

I would sincerely appreciate your support by donating to my fundraising page. The money will go directly to families of terminally ill children who are in need of help and REACT will be showing us exactly how the money is spent.      

REACT is a small, dynamic charity responding to the needs of terminally ill children cared for by low-income families. The charity's goal is to ensure all children have access to comfort, dignity and the opportunity to participate in life as fully as possible, no matter how short that life may be. REACT will provide any item considered to be a basic, essential need, ranging from specialist equipment such as sleep systems and adapted wheelchairs, to basic household items such as washing machines, cookers or even something as inexpensive as bedding and clothing. REACT will also provide educational and communication aids, respite holidays and, very sadly, end of life costs.
