“I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in July 2016 and, after a flurry of tests and procedures, I underwent an operation using state of the art robotic surgery. This was successfully carried out at the Lister in Stevenage by what I can only describe as a terrific team of very special people. I am doing this skydive to give something back in support of truly dedicated, underfunded team.
RALPH (Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Prostatectomy Hero's) is a support group for post robotic surgery patients at Lister Hospital.The group was recently setup (as working men who like a beer and need a little support), to raise awareness of prostate cancer. We are looking for your support in raising funds for the Urology Department at The Lister Hospital, this so that the department can go above and beyond for local patients. Every penny raised will go to this exact purpose and will enable the purchasing of additional equipment as well.
