Bupa Great South Run 2013 · 27 October 2013 ·

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

In October I will be running the Great South Run (10 miles, a lot for me!) in memory of my uncle Stephen who tragically passed away in March, and my Great auntie Sheila who passed away a few weeks ago. Whilst their passings were neither through heart problems, Stephen had battled with heart problems during most of his adult life and the support the British Heart Foundation showed my family was amazing, and as such it was my cousins chosen charity.

It would mean a lot to my family if people could help support this great cause, even if I have to face public embarrassment with a shockingly long running time to do it! The target is 10 miles in 1 hour 35 mins. My PB so far? 3 miles...no joke.

Also Jamie will be running for a different charity so feel free to support his cause if it relates to you more, any donations are truly truly appreciated. If you don't have any money, just come down to laugh at me attempting to run this far, you can't miss me, I'll be the one at the back.
