As you may know by now I am about to embark on a pretty epic sailing adventure by taking part in 2 legs of the 'Clipper Round The World' Yacht Race for 4 months from January 2016. This will be an extraordinary personal challenge for me as I have absolutely no prior sailing experience but I am delighted to be doing leg 5 of the race to help raise awareness and valuable support for the CATS Foundation (Cure And Action for Tay-Sachs disease - a rare and fatal genetic disorder mainly affecting young children).

A challenge of this magnitude should have an equally ambitious fundraising target and with your kindness and generosity I aim to raise £10K in total for The Cats Foundation through the Archityper Team which equates to roughly £1 per kilometre sailed, no mean feat but by all means achievable.

As a charitable organization the CATS Foundation provides invaluable support, respite and vital equipment so that sufferers can have as high a quality of life as possible. They also provide critical research funding and are getting ever closer to potential treatments for this devastating terminal illness.

Any support from you would be greatly appreciated and goes directly to this very worthwhile cause.
