Hey, thanks for coming to my fundraising page. It means a lot!
My challenge for this year is to step up my training any make a huge dent in my personal best time over a half marathon distance.
I'm just coming up to the end of my first of 16 weeks of training, and beginning to get in the swing of it. Between now and September I'll be pounding the pavement 4 times weekly, to make the necessary improvement to my fitness and hopefully achieve the golden time of 1hr 45mins.
Unfortunately, when I was last training for a big run, my best time was only 2hrs. So I'm anticipating a lot of PAIN between now and then. However, I've made arguably the hardest step already and chosen my new trainers.
I am supporting the charity for which I work - Viva!, who are imho the most outspoken animal organization. Who put blood sweat and tears into delivering a message that helps millions of scapegoats and underdogs around the globe.
