Story

On the 15th December my beautiful daughter lost her battle to be here she was 5 3/4 Ava should have celebrated her 6th birthday on 8th feb. Ava had strep A which her little body couldn't fight this lead to Sepsis taking control of her and eventually taking her from us.

Ava was a fighter she overcame so many obstacles in her life, having Down Syndrome came with its own challenges but Ava was a determined little darling she always achieved all her goals just sometimes a little longer than most.

Anyone that ever met her would always say she was a strong willed little lady.

she made us as a family so proud everyday.

I will be updating this page on the event I have planned, please give whatever you can as every little helps believe it does, go on the sepsis web page and see where your money goes.

This is a nasty reaction we do to ourselves in the bodies crazy way of thinking it can help, it takes hold so quickly time is so so important, please don't be afraid to ask could this be sepsis at any point!!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.
