We help veterans and their families to live the life they deserve after service

Story

Five of AVMI's bravest, are taking part in the world's largest assault course, Rat Race Dirty Weekend, to raise money for Help for Heroes. Together the guys will combat over 200 obstacles for a 20 mile stint to push their physical and mental capacity to its absolute limits.

Following the successful launch of AVMI's Veterans Programme, the team wanted to take their support one step further and raise money to support the men, women and their families, who make a commitment to serving their country.

Today, seven people will be medically discharged from the Armed Forces and their lives will change forever. In an instant, these highly trained individuals will lose the camaraderie, purpose and career which has been their life.

Help for Heroes provides recovery and support for the Armed Forces community whose lives are affected by their service, no matter when they served. Every penny raised is to help Veterans and Service Personnel reach their potential, regain their purpose and have a positive impact on society.
