We have chosen Dandelion Time as our 2017 Charity of the Year to raise awareness and provide support for the amazing work they do with children and their families across Kent. Dandelion Time work with disadvantaged families experiencing serious behavioural and emotional difficulties. Often the children are victims of trauma, abuse and neglect and parents frequently struggle with chronic mental health difficulties and low self-esteem.

Based on a peaceful farm near Maidstone, Dandelion Time deliver a practical farm-based therapeutic programme. Given time and space in the natural environment and support from therapeutic practitioners, families work together to find ways to restore trust, gain strength and make positive and sustainable changes in their lives.
