We aim to research and educate to ensure that the Atlantic is fit for life

Story

The Bangor University Zoological Society are embarking on their 2019 Teide Challenge!

During our annual Tenerife trip to work on cetacean conservation on short-finned pilot whales and bottle-nose dolphins, a group of 17 of us will hike the third-highest volcanic structure on Earth (3,718 m).

We hope to raise money for the Atlantic Whale and Dolphin Foundation to assist the expanding of their operations, particularly the Sao Tome project to analyse humpback whale behaviour and acoustic patterns.

Every little helps towards helping endangered species/ecosystems, and the people who live close with them!
