Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Back in January, when I saw Mike Tomlinson announce the York Marathon on the morning news I knew that I wanted to give it a go! I've never entered a marathon before and need as many sponsors and supporters as possible to encourage me onwards...especially at my age!

I am raising money for the work of The Salvation Army in Bridlington - they are a small group of people who tirelessly help bring some light back into lives blighted by poverty, loneliness and hardship. I have witnessed their work firsthand when Richard and I have helped at their Christmas lunch in Bridlington and seen them make such a difference.
