Following the very recent death of my father in law on September 20th to this vile and horrible cancer I have come clean with my marathon activity. 

It was swift and sudden to a disease we had never heard of - until now. Linked to asbestos found in the workplace it quietly crept though him. 

So if my efforts of trotting round Birmingham- for about 5 hours can help to raise a small amount of money to support the  charity that represents and researches this disease then it's the least I can do.
