As everyone is probably aware, the London Marathon didn't happen in 2020 due to covid.

I had the option to defer to the October 2021 event however, due to a technical issue with the organisers many entrants did not receive their deferral email.

Unfortunately, despite trying to make contact through many different channels, by the time the issue was resolved the deadline had passed and they revoked my place.

I have however, been offered a charity place with Headway UK. Unfortunately as I have been raising money for Headway Somerset I will need to continue my fundraising for the central charity. Please check out my new page and watch out for some of the fundraising events I will be planning over the next few months.

I can confirm though, that I did manage to run 6 marathons since I started fundraising so you definitely got your monies worth of running from me!

I'd like to thank everyone for their generosity so far and sorry that I was unable to take up a deferred place.
