Philippa Jane Lowe (known to everyone as Pip)

Pip passed from this earth on Sunday the 29th of January 2018, she was just 47 years old. Having suffered Pancreatic cancer for approx. 2 years, she fought this awful disease every second of those years, with the help of her partner, her brother, her father and other members of her family, together with many of her friends.

She was one of the bravest people I have met, born under 4lbs. premature, suffering by 3years "Stills Disease" (a form of poly arthritis in young people) and a earlier cancer (which she beat) around 6 years ago, but never giving in or giving up.

Never the less her life was wonderful, a long and successful career in PR & Marketing in the entertainment industry, which took her on a journey, both meeting various personalities from both in front of the camera and the unsung hero's behind the technical equipment that make the show happen. Her last days of working were in New York, where many of her friends remain.

I choose this research fund, because of all the terrible cancers there are, this remains the Cinderella version. Almost every cancer over the last 10 years has improved in terms of its survival rate, Pancreatic cancer in the UK has virtually stood still. So there is much to be done to help others who might contract this illness.

Give as little or as much as you can, remembering this beautiful, brave woman.
