Story

Hi Folks,

Thanks for visiting my page.

I am competing in the Ironman on Sunday 30th August for Friends of the Cancer Centre - a local Northern Ireland charity that raises money for projects focusing on clinical care, patient comfort and funding the research of new cancer treatments. Sadly recent statistics have shown that now nearly 1 in 2 people in the UK will be affected by cancer at some stage in life.

The Ironman Triathlon is considered one of the toughest one day sporting events in the world - it comprises of a 2.4 mile open water swim, a 112 mile cycle followed by a full 26.2 mile marathon run (in that order, all in one day!)

Any donation small or big would be greatly appreciated; it really can make a difference to those suffering with the disease.

(Please keep the donation amount anonymous!)
