Last year I lost my best man to treacherous melanoma
cancer. Peter (Filo) was fantastic father, loving husband but also my oldest closest friend. It all happened way to quickly that there was no time for help nor time to say good bye.I cannot imagine how to cope with one’s thoughts, when disease progress so fast. For that Peter has my great admiration and respect, because he refused to surrender and held his spirit high till the very end.The place where he spent his last days contributed to his bravery, and he was grateful for that. Through his loving wife Michaela he left me his last wish “if you will ever do fundraising for charity again, will you do it for Hospice of St Francis in my name?” and I will! So in the name of Peter, I am going to run 100 km from London 2 Brighton for the Hospice of St Francis. Please support my effort and help all those great people working in St Francis to provide support for those who face this terrible battle with cancer. I know that we are living tough times and help is needed in many places, but I would be very grateful if you choose this opportunity to help a good cause.
Thank you for your kindness.
