I am so thankful for attending the Multi Activity Course (MAC) delivered by the BattleBack Centre. The MAC is part of the Defence Recovery Programme that ensures wounded, injured and sick personnel have access to the key SERVICES and RESOURCES needed to help them either return to duty or make a smooth transition into a civilian life. It also allows personnel to try adaptive sports and push boundaries. For me I never thought would be able to take part in activities like rock climbing and archery but the MAC allowed me to overcome the challenges and enhanced my recovery dramatically.

After the MAC I found a new passion for life and am now a competitive clay target shooter, representing my county in a number of disciplines.

Without this course I would have never tired clay target shooting and I probably wouldn't have the positive outlook on life that I now have thanks to a new found passion in the sport of shotgun shooting.

Please help raise money so more and more WIS soldiers have the centre available to them to help them in their recovery program.
