We help disabled people to use technology in any way possible

Story

If you're reading this, there is a strong possibility that at one stage or another you've played a computer game. You probably know someone in your life, who loves computer games. They are more popular now, then ever before. I've got an unquenchable passion for computer games. I know for me and many people that if I could no longer play them, it would be devestating.

Special Effect are a charity that works to use technology to enhance the quality of life of people with learning difficulties. More specifically, they help people to play and enjoy computer games. This is not easy but it is a very honourable and worthwhile pursuit.

What I plan to do, in one sitting, is play the excellent Battlefield 3 for a minimum of 24 hours. This in itself is a challenge. To make it more interesting I plan to set challenges for myself to meet. Failure to meet these challenges will mean I have to add an extra hour onto my overall time. This means in theory I could end up doing this for quite some time. Details on the challenges will be decided closer to the time.

Now to the bit were you, the reader, comes in. Even if you can only spare a pound, it goes to make a long difference in the long run, espeically if I can get a couple of hundred people to spare just one pound. If you can spare more, then I'm very, very grateful. It's for a great cause and it's something I've witnessed first hand.

Thank you for reading and donating.
