At a time of such uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, we are putting out an appeal for donations to ensure the continuity of St Teresa's Hospice in Darlington, South Durham and North Yorkshire.

Story

As the annual Durham University BioSoc Bake off cannot be held this year we are running a Biosoc Bark Off sponsored walk on 5th June to support St T's. St Teresa's Hospice has been supporting residents of Darlington, South Durham and North Yorkshire for more than 30 years and rely on local community to raise over 70% of their total income each year. These are unprecedented times; with the outbreak of COVID-19 there is likely to be disruption to fundraising activities in the coming months, with an adverse effect on income. Please, consider giving a gift to St Teresa's Hospice today to help them get through this difficult time, and to make sure those who need care and support can continue to access it. If everyone gave just £5 each it would make a massive difference to those in need. All donations will be greatly appreciated, and every penny will be spent locally on vital palliative and end of life care and support.
