I have always enjoyed running and I was allocated a place in this years London Marathon. I also have a space in the serpentine swim which I was meant to do last year. 

I have chosen to raise money for the Charcot Therapy Centre (Formerly known as the Gloucester MS Information and Therapy Centre) because of the work they do to help support people living with or caring for those in the Gloucestershire area with neurological or long term chronic conditions.

I first heard of this Centre through one of my good friends, Rachael, who visits this Centre on a regular basis for various therapies.  After speaking to her I couldn't believe what they offer to people and what a hidden gem it was! It offers massage, acupuncture, CBT and oxygen therapy to its members among other things! As well as provide a safe place for people to attend to meet others, and just chat if they want. 

It helps people living with any neurological or chronic condition, including MS, ME, Fibromyalgia, Cancer, Diabetes as well as Sports Injuries and Post-op Recovery. The list goes on!

The charity is completely self funded and relies on fundraising and donations, and after the last year as you can imagine it has been a challenge to raise funds with all events cancelled.
