Hi, I am Beccy Lane and I am 17 years old. In July I will be going on a two week  Mission Trip to Zambia to help build classrooms or other facilities for a school in one of Lusaka’s sprawling shanty towns. These are communities that would otherwise have no schools, clinics, water or sanitation.

A proper childhood is a precious thing. It is something that tens of thousands of children in Zambia are robbed of. The kids of Lusaka’s shanty towns often go without such basic things as food, shelter and education. Through Mission Direct I aim to give some of these things back to them, not to mention hope for tomorrow and a care free childhood today. But it cannot be done without your help! Your donations will be going towards the travel and living expences of my trip and also towards clothes and food for some of the children i will meet while i am there.
