Lakes for Level Water
Campaign by Level Water (RCN 1151510)
The Lakes of the UK are supporting Level Water and are asking you to jump in to help us stay afloat. Level Water needs your help now so we're ready to start bespoke swimming lessons for children with disabilities when the pools re-open their doors.

Story

In 2020 everyone’s races have been cancelled, I’ve felt extremely lost without a weekly or monthly target to have my training focussed towards. Charities have struggled without their money coming from all the races and with 2020 just being an awful year, people have not been able to do what they really enjoy doing.

So, in true Becky style I thought I’d look at how I could try swimming as far as I can at some point. At that point, this charity swim popped up and I thought perfect opportunity to get to swim in a beautiful lake for more than an hour. When I started looking into it, I realised that there was a goal to raise money that will allow disabled children to learn how to swim. What an absolutely perfect cause and that’s when I decided, time to jump into the beautiful waters of Divers Cove and swim as far as I can. I’m lucky enough to have had the access to coaching to allow me to gain the skill level to swim far so please help me raise money for others who do not have this opportunity.

Swimming is by far one of the best skills to have  it keeps us safe when we are playing by bodies of water, it allows so many people the perfect headspace and others an opportunity to swim with reduced pain. And ultimately, it allows so many disabled children the opportunity to get out of their wheelchairs to float, swim and have an amazing time in the water  so please do donate for an amazing charity. Thank you

The lakes of the UK and the Outdoor Swimming Society are supporting Level Water in their mission to provide bespoke, 1-1 swimming lessons for children with disabilities across the UK. Level Water want a world where everyone has access to swimming. For life. By donating to this challenge you are helping to make sure that, once pools have re-opened, lessons can continue straight away and children can continue to learn this life changing skill.
