Hey everyone! I’m running the Virgin Money London Marathon 2019 for Muscular Dystrophy.

I have chosen this charity as it is close to my heart, it raises awareness for a condition called Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease which many people haven’t heard of.

My aunt suffers from Charcot Marie-Tooth, it is an inherited condition which affects the peripheral nerves that control movement. It makes it very difficult for her to do the normal everyday activities that an ordinary person can do, from picking up a pen and writing, to opening the lid off of a bottle. This condition gradually becomes worse over time. 

By doing the London Marathon, not only am I setting a goal for myself to train hard but my main aim is to raise awareness for Charcot-Marie-Tooth on behalf of Muscular Dystrophy!
