I thought it would be fun to see how i changed throughtout my treatment but how i was also always having fun. So check out my photos too.
In March 2011 i was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at Barnsley Hospital. The next day i was admitted to the Royal Hallamshire in Sheffield and i spent 6 weeks undergoing an intense round of chemotherapy before i returned home. I completed my intensive phase of chemotherapy in March 2012, it should have taken 9 months but due to infections and low blood counts their had been some delays. A week before i finished this phase i had the wonderful news that i had passed my driving test. Since March 2012 i have undergone maintenance chemotherapy and am now down to 1 visit every month where i still have IV chemotherapy. Throughout this time i have continued to enjoy life as much as i can. Spending time with friends, partying, going on holidays and pushing myself. Ive been to Amsterdam, Ive been sailing with the Ellen MAcarthur trust on the isle of whight and attended many wonderful events thanks to the Teenage Cancer trust including Find Your Sense of Tumour 2012. And i now aim to complete a 10,000ft solo skydive while raising money for the people who have helped me.
So please please please give generously id love to exceed my target of £605.00 and this is the minimum i have to raise to be able to do the jump. But please give as much as you can spare as i know for a fact it will help someone.
