I'm doing the Tube Challenge with Tom Kell as we both like the tube a lot and thought it would be a good idea to try and break the record of 16hr 20min 27sec around all 270 stations on the network in aid of charity.
The idea of the challenge is to travel to all London Underground Stations in a twenty-four hour period. The world record for this challenge is over 16 hours, and we are targeting to do it in 18 hours. This is a physical challenge that requires a lot of skill and precision to carry out, and we are seeking sponsorship to undertake the event. The nature of task means that it will be mentally and physically draining, but the planning of the event itself requires a lot of work.
I'm supporting The Back Up trust as it helped to rehabilitate my godfather when he was in a spinal injury unit after a motorcycle crash. The charity really helps to rebuild confidence after a spinal injury as well as providing courses to help those injured to get used to being in a wheelchair.
