This September, four Magdalene students will be cycling halfway across Europe, from Berlin to Istanbul, to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. The trip will last for one month, crossing seven countries, climbing over two large mountain ranges and visiting four capital cities. It's a journey of over two thousand two hundred miles (Land's End to John o'Groats is less than one thousand), much of which will be over the notoriously poor roads of Romania and Bulgaria.

Undertaking such a trip is a big challenge for all involved. The team will have to average around 76 miles each day- with a few rest days thrown in, this means that days of over one hundred miles will be a regular occurrence. So let's not let all this effort go to waste.
