The BHTA Stairlifts & Access Section (50 UK based companies) are working together to raise funds for Scope. The challenge is for BHTA staff, and the staff of our members to walk 10,000 steps for every day of September. This will be a total of 300,000 steps and approximately 150 miles.  

Scope is a charity that exists to make this country a place where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else.

The British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) is the UK's oldest and largest healthcare association, founded in 1917. Our members - almost 500 companies employing over 17,000 people – make or sell healthcare and assistive technology products that help people live more independently. Services provided by members range from assessments for the right mobility vehicle to dispensing of prescriptions for stoma and continence products.
