Thanks so much to everyone who has helped over the course of this season. So many people, strangers and friends alike, have donated, offered a bed for the night, bought me a hard-earned pint or helped in hundreds of other ways. Thanks to each and every one of you.

We've smashed through the £5000 target I set at the start of the season. The page is open for another year. If anyone still wants to donate, please feel free to do so. The next stage of the challenge for me is to write the book and find a publisher. If I do so I will offer a percentage of each sale to The Alzheimer's Society, so hopefuly the total will keep on rising.
