Lee's Kilimanjaro Trek

Kilimanjaro · 18 August 2016
Mental health is an issue that has or will affect many of us in our lifetime, whether it be us directly or someone we know and love.
Through research, I discovered the devastating fact that 1 in 4 people at some point in their life time will be affected by a form of mental health illness. There are many forms of this which include depression, anxiety, body dysmorphia, PTSD and schizophrenia to mention a few.
Because of this, I have chosen to climb the world's tallest freestanding mountain (19,000ft). My adventure will take place in August 2016 over a 10 day trek up kilimanjaro.
I feel that mental health is an issue that is often underestimated and through my fundraising, I'd like to make more people aware of the help that the charity provides.
I hope you appreciate how difficult this challenge will be for me, therefore, please support me in my efforts to raise money for West Norfolk Mind.
Thank you
