Asthma UK

We are the UK's leading asthma charity here to stop asthma attacks and cure asthma

Charity Registration No. 802364 (England), SCO39322 (Scotland)

Hello! My name is Gary.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for Asthma UK.

I have had asthma as long as I can remember and at 58 that's a long time. As a child I was treated differenty from other children because of my asthma and felt stigmatised by having it. This has made me more determined to do my best and help all people who have the condition.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

For details of my cycling/birding journey around the UK, starting on January the first 2015 and ending on December 31st, please look at my blog at

There is also a community page on facebook called   Biking Birder 2015

and my own Facebook page - Gary Prescott (Chester College.

So, 2015 will be spent cycling around the whole of the UK visiting over 200 RSPB nature reserve. I will be counting all the birds I see on each reserve and promoting the wonderful work that they do. The RSPB are an incredible charity and seeing the amazing people involved will be a pleasure and a privilege. The diversity of habitats, wildlife and locations will make the year one of immense fascination and wonder.

From Worcestershire south, I will be cycling a clockwise route until ending at the same location in Worcestershire.

I thank you with all my heart for your kind donation to this fabulous charity and hope to share your love of nature one day, either through the social media messaging possibilities or maybe by meeting you personally whilst travelling.

Thanks to you.

Gary B. Prescott aka Biking Birder 2015
