I am a trustee of London's Air Ambulance, and believe passionately in what they do. I have worked and volunteered with hundreds of charities throughout my life, but London Air Ambulance is special. 

It's the ethos, the team and the commitment to saving lives that makes this a very very special charity. 

London Air Ambulance's  mission is to save lives in London through the provision of rapid response and cutting-edge care. It is a charity that works alongside the NHS. Last year they treated 1713 patients, supporting everyday at least 5 seriously injured patients.  

For  my birthday weekend this year (9th-11th September) I want to raise £1000.00. I shall be starting on the Friday by abseiling 17 floors down the Royal London and then walking 100km on Saturday and Sunday (non stop for around 36 hours and through the night) as part of the Thames Pathway Challenge.
