At the age of 13 I had the misfortune of being diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. After a number of NHS admissions and operations I found life a bit more stable but the stress of the illness has been a factor of creating another health issue. I am a sufferer of OCD too. 

Crohn's Disease is a condition that causes inflammation of the digestive system or gut. Crohn's is a chronic condition. This means there is no cure. The aim of treatment is to relieve symptoms and extend remission time.

OCD is an anxiety disorder built up with obsessions and compulsions.There's a misconception that OCD is just down to people feeling the need to clean. It's complex and often referred to as 'the silent disorder'. My obsession has always been about perfection and led to severe depression.

I have a personal aim to raise money for connected charities through outdoor activities to show it's possible to get back on track with life. All donations are appreciated.
