Story

My name is Andrew Goddard and I'm the Executive Chairman of Morris Lubricants & GB Lubricants.

For our 2019 company charity we are supporting The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. The Charity does fantastic work and we are keen to put our support behind it.

Our aim as a company is to raise £10,000 which involves adopting and naming a guide dog puppy, and funding its two-year programme of training and development.

There are almost two million people in the UK who are living with sight loss, which has a significant impact on their daily lives.

Many of these people rarely leave their homes alone, which means they can sometimes lead lonely, isolated lives.

My challenge is to raise £5,000 towards our total by trekking up Mount Snowdon (the highest mountain in Wales) BLINDFOLDED. This will not be an easy challenge and the Morris Lubricants team will be supporting me all the way to get to the top.

If our fundraising campaign can help to prevent at least one person from being left out of life, then our year of fundraising and this challenge will all have been worthwhile.

Your Donations are gratefully appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
