Story

Blueprint team have finally committed and stepped up to the mark to cycle from Blueprint office in Newark to the Gauselmann factory in Espelkamp, Germany.

This challenge covers over 400 miles across 4 days and will be no easy task!!

When we first talked about this (properly, as it has been talked about for years now!), we had 12 interested bodies raring to go, however now it’s come to getting on the bikes and doing some training there seems to be only 3 of us left!

Nicola, Andy and Gavin will head out from Newark, Nottinghamshire on Monday 11th June travelling south towards Harwich covering 170 miles over the first two days before getting the overnight Ferry across to the Hook of Holland. Once on the continent they will cycle through the Netherlands throughout day three covering just over 120 miles, leaving their legs nice and fresh ready for the final day traversing the
German countryside arriving in Espelkamp hopefully before night falls.

In true Blueprint style we wanted to do something that was different along with raising some cash that will make a great difference for Blueprint’s chosen Charity Newark’s Children's Bereavement Centre charity chosen by our staff. The Children's Bereavement Centre is a unique and special place where children aged between 3 and 18 and
their families who are affected by terminal illness or death of someone close can access the support and guidance they need.

With just over 3 weeks to go before we get on our bikes, training is getting harder whilst Mr Barff continues to crack the whip so any sponsorship you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
