Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, I know there are millions of worthy causes so I appreciate you taking the time to read our story :)

Gibside School is an special needs school in Gateshead that is very close to our hearts, it's where our little lad Ronnie spends his school days and will hopefully continue to grow, flourish and learn in ways mainstream school may not achieve.  Ask anyone with a child who has SEN or a disability (visible or invisible) and I'm sure they will tell you of the fears they have for their child's future and how they will make their way in today's world...

Schools like Gibside help families - and the children themselves - see that wonderful things are possible with the right support, and where there is love and encouragement - there is hope and a snazzy, bright future.

Friends of Gibside School (FOGs) is a parent-run group working with the school to fundraise to provide specialised equipment, training, experiences and much, much more.  I have been asked to try to raise £200 to support the school's ventures this coming year, therefore anything you can spare will be truly appreciated.  I am paying for the zip wire experience (!) myself, so all donations will, indeed, be donated.  I will be zipping from the Baltic to The Sage next Friday night (27th) if anyone wants to point and laugh or have a steadying drink afterwards.
