Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As soon as I heard about Walk with M.E I wanted to get involved! I have had M.E since October 2015. It has had a huge impact on my life, I went from being very active to being bedbound.

M.E. (myalgic encephalomyelitis) is also known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, however there's a lot more to it than just fatigue. I am always in pain, constantly feel drained, have sleep problems, palpitations, dizziness, headaches and cognitive problems.

My symptoms have improved slightly and I can now get out and about if I rest and pace myself, but this will still be a huge challenge! There is no way I could walk one million steps on my own, but luckily I will have my lovely team to help me out.

Any donation would be amazing, you would be helping to fund vital information and support services for people with M.E - really important stuff! Plus every penny is being doubled, which means even more change for people with M.E!

Thank you for reading and thanks in advance for any donations!

At Action for M.E. we're working to end the ignorance, injustice and neglect experienced by men, women and children with M.E. We provide a lifeline of support to thousands of people each year, campaign to raise awareness of M.E. and work to encourage more high-quality biomedical research.
