Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

The Bowers family in Northallerton are doing a sponsered walk in aid of Huntingtons disease on the 29th Oct 2005.

In memory of the following brave family members: Susan Bowers who died aged 47, Andrew Bowers aged 31, Barbara Bowers aged 58, and Paul Bowers aged 30

The walk is ten miles through the North Yorkshire moors visiting highcliff nab , captain cooks monument and finishing with a climb up roseberry topping , HD+ members of the family are taking part and the older children in the family, Jordan age 12 and Kelsie Bowers age 12.

Update 12/12/06: The walk (more of an uphill climb than a walk thanks Cliff!!) went well and lots of friends turned up to help out which was nice, we are very grateful to them all and to everyone who sponsered us. A huge well done to Jordan and Kelsie who made the rest of us look like wimps.

I need to get hold of  people and find out an exact amount raised offline, the total will be around  £1000 excluding gift aid. Happy xmas and new year to eveyone!!!!  Mel x

This year we are asking the HDA to use the money raised for carers.

A thousand thankyou's for your support, The Bowers family xxx
