Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

We are passionate about helping people to have a good home.

Previously B&Q have held 3 exciting Charity Golf Days, earning substantial amounts of money for our business charities. After 3 years of being away, 2019 brings back the B&Q Charity Golf Day which will be held at Meon Valley, Southampton on Tuesday 18th June.

In partnership with Valspar we are hosting 18 teams of 4 where 72 players will compete and raise money for Shelter, who I'm sure you will agree are a worthy charity! Each player is raising £100 to take part in this event and all the money raised by B&Q will enable Shelter to give recently homeless or badly housed people the help they need to turn their flat/house into a home. We'd love you to join in on raising money and sponsor us, feel free to comment on which team you think will win!

A little more about Shelter: they help millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through their advice, support and legal services. And they campaign to make sure that, one day, no one will have to turn to them for help.
