2020 has been difficult and challenging in so many ways. Charity events and group gatherings are out, so unfortunately our 100-mile cycle ride fundraiser has had to be cancelled. But we still need to raise some much-needed funds for our Charity of the Year. So instead, we’ll be cycling, walking, running and canoeing individually for 80 days to see if we can make it (virtually) all around the world.

Inspired by the (fictional) voyage undertaken by Phileas Fogg in Jules Verne’s Around the World in 80 Days we will be racing against the clock to rack up the miles. No trains, boats, sleds or elephants for us – we’ll be doing it all under our own power!

Starting from 8 August we will log our combined mileage every day for 80 days. Between us we’ll need to cover an average of over 300 miles a day. It’s going to be quite a feat, but the more people that join in the better we can share the load. We hope that all our families and friends will be keen to support and encourage our endeavours. Our South West team is aiming to raise at least £4,000 in sponsorship for Children's Hospice South West. Can you help?

Our Lincoln team is fundraising for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and the Scotland team is aiming to raise at least £4,000 in sponsorship for Rachel House and Children's Hospices Across Scotland.
